RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS

On 29th of January 2023 I went to Red Hot Chill Pepper in Brisbane which was a dream come true. How good it is to make a dream come true! ❤️🔥 I have a very special memory from back when I was around 14 years old and I randomly found (and I don’t remember where haha) a DVD copy of the 2003 @chilipeppers concert at Slane Castle - and I would watch that dvd on the tube TV we had at home over and over and over again, when I didn’t even know what the lyrics were about, what they were saying… or at first neither who they really were. I just loved and I would always try to imitate John Frusciante with my imaginary guitar; and I grew up with this genuine love for this band. Yesterday, 18 years later, I got to see them in an incredible concert, so close, right there haha 🤩 and I'm so happy to have fulfilled such a special dream that comes with so much loving memories from my teenager heart. 🥰❤️🔥 so much love for these guys and their amazing music.
Next days the only think about was about them, and I couldn't be more inspired to create a canary illustration for them.

Como é bom realizar sonhos! ❤️🔥 Tenho uma memória afetiva muito especial de quando eu tinha uns 14 anos e encontrei aleatoriamente (e não me lembro onde haha) um DVD pirata do show do @chilipeppers em 2003 no Slane Castle - e eu assistia a esse dvd na TV de tubo que tínhamos em casa sem parar, quando eu nem sabia do que se tratava a letra, o que eles falavam, ou a princípio quem de fato eram eles. Simplesmente amava e tentava sempre imitar o John Frusciante com minha guitarra imaginário; e eu cresci com esse amor genuíno por essa banda. Ontem, 18 anos depois, pude vê-los em um show incrível, bem pertinho, bem ali haha 🤩 e estou muito feliz por ter realizado um sonho tão especial que vem com tantas lembranças amorosas do meu coração adolescente. 🥰❤️🔥 muito amor por esses caras e suas músicas incríveis que me acompanham a vida inteira.
