This is a personal project that I’ve been working on in the second semester of 2021, against all odds, it’s finally here. This illustration designed by me was inspired by our amazing and beautiful Amazon Forest! The scarf is made of silk and satin, is a square of 65x65cm and the colours are incredibly vibrant as Amazonia and its bioma.
Unfortunately, despite all beauty Amazonia has already lost almost 20% of its original size in the past 50 years (agricultural, logging and mining activities, firing and animal smuggling are some of the threats) and we all should make ourselves aware of that.
We should celebrate nature and find a way to contribute with those fighting for Amazon Forest preservation and indigenous people dignity. 💚
